Samuel at "On Golden Pond" has worked wonders with my pond, I have used his services on three different ponds over the years and he has done a great job in maintaining all of them.  Samuel has also remodeled my last pond and it is crystal clear with vibrant fish, healthy water and minimal if ever issues.  I first used On Golden Pond in Los Angeles and since now in Laguna Beach, first class people who really do know their business.

I bought a house with a Koi pond and about 30 fish.  I was a complete novice...and after a series of unfortunate mishaps I found Samuel and hired him for a thorough cleaning and monthly maintenance.  After a couple of years I had to lay him off, strictly for financial reasons.  But since then I've called him anytime something beyond my numerous limitations has come up and he's always been out lickety split to help.  He's never given me any kind guilt trip or grief for letting him go.  He's always done a fantastic job and he's never left me hanging.  I would recommend his services to anybody in need.

I've read the reviews for On Golden Pond and quite frankly I was surprised to read what one person wrote. I had a great experience. It started when I tried to build my own pond and it was disaster. This is why people should call professionals, so that's what did. I found OGP through google and gave them a call. I told him I didn't want to hear what I did wrong and to just fix it. He did and the results were everything I expected and more...for a while. At the time I decided not to go all the way with the recommended repairs, convincing myself they weren't necessary...oops. Strike two

Three years later and I called them back. We just finished the project today and it looks great. Samuel, the owner, walked me through everything and never came back asking for more money to fix something else. He identified everything I should have done three years ago and fixed it as well as a few bonuses. He was professional and his people cared about what they were doing. I had seen On Golden Pond's work at a variety of locations in Santa Monica and Malibu and their attention to detail when building and. Maintaining Koi Ponds is amazing. I met one of their workers and he knew a lot about Koi fish. He serviced a pond on one of our properties and he did great.

They offer an amazing service at a reasonable price. Samuel is a professional and knows what he is doing. In the past I worked with a company that charged me less, however, the service was not comparable. Samuel rescued my three koi that were almost dying. I highly recommend him.

After struggling every weekend trying to clean my algae laden ponds, I called Samuel.  He eliminated the visibly hideous filters, installed a new completely hidden filter system and filled my ponds with gorgeous tropical lilies. For far too long we struggled with maintaining a clean pond and, frankly, did not enjoy the beauty of our fish and turtle. Samuel quoted me a fair price for professional service and brought over a capable, friendly crew to work on putting in better piping and filtration. They installed a seahorse fountain perched on a flagstone slab that not only looks natural and classy, but provides a basking area for our beloved turtle, Laguna. Samuel and his crew were very reliable, efficient, and pleasant to work with.
We inherited a 900 gallon Koi pond with various water features and it had not been maintained very well over the years. Samuel's crew had it looking pristine by the end of the day.
They drained the pond, removed the fish, and extensively cleaned out all the overgrown root systems and debris. They also updated part of the filtering system and installed some lights. We now have a beautiful pond and happy Koi.

I was looking for a service to fix my pond pump and clean up the pond.
I did an internet search and found On Golden Pond in my area. I was able to get an appointment with Samuel who came within a few days.
He sent me a reasonable quote and were able to do the work the following week. His workmen did a fantastic job cleaning the pond and were able to fix the pump instead of replacing it. I will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Years ago, we hired a landscaping crew that created a little backyard water feature with a small pond to attract native birds. That worked brilliantly, but trying to keep the pond clean and free of mosquito larvae was a chore. I was incredibly fortunate to connect with Samuel and his team at On Golden Pond. They are able to manage the algae without harming the birds, and the proof of that is the very happy school of mosquito fish which they recommended and told me how to obtain free of charge. Plumbing issues have been resolved over the years, and the pond just takes care of itself -- with regular visits from On Golden Pond. Now I only have to look out the window and enjoy the birds.
